Bob’s Special Tours named a finalist at the Tourismusstars Awards 2026
At the first edition of the Tourismusstars, Austria’s national tourism award, Bob’s Special Tours reached the finals of the Salzburg round in the category “Das Erlebnis des Jahres” (Experience of the Year).
The award was presented on 27 April 2026 at the Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. More than 400 entries were submitted from all nine Austrian provinces and assessed by an independent expert jury on criteria such as quality, innovation and sustainability. We received 87 out of 100 points.
The category honours travel experiences that move guests and stay with them long after the journey. That has always been our approach: small groups, personal attention and enough time for every single guest, rather than a large coach and a fixed script.
For a small family-run company from Salzburg, a result like this means a great deal to our team. Thank you to all our guests who make it possible.
