-Meeting Point:
Meet your tour guide at you accommodation in the city area of Salzburg at 9:00am
-Salzwelten Salt Mines:
Start your journey with a visit to the Salzwelten Salt Mines in Bad Dürrnberg, where families and groups alike will enjoy an exciting and educational underground adventure. Experience ancient mining techniques through interactive exhibits, a thrilling mine train ride, and unique displays that captivate all ages. It’s a perfect mix of history and fun (Salt Mine tickets included).
-Rossfeld Panorama Road:
If the weather allows, drive along the picturesque Rossfeld Panorama Road, offering incredible views of the surrounding alpine peaks and valleys. It’s a great photo opportunity for groups and families alike to take in the breathtaking scenery.
Königssee (Weather permitting): If the weather is favorable, we’ll head to the stunning Königssee, a crystal-clear alpine lake surrounded by dramatic mountain cliffs. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing stroll around the lake, browse the local shops, or take a boat ride to the picturesque St. Bartholomä (boat ride not included in the price).
-Weather Alternative – Keltendorf & Salzmanufaktur:
In case of unfavorable weather, we’ll replace the visit to Königssee with a fascinating exploration of the Keltendorf, a Celtic village that brings to life the ancient traditions of Celtic tribes. Explore reconstructed homes, learn about the daily life of the Celts, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages. Afterward, visit the Salzmanufaktur, where you can discover the art of salt production and sample different types of locally made salt.
-Return to Salzburg: After a day filled with exploration, we’ll return to Salzburg, with a drop-off at your accommodation (or the city center, if wished) around 3:00 pm.

As you travel along scenic alpine roads and through lush valleys, you’ll be treated to spectacular views, including the famous Rossfeld Panorama Road. Highlights of the tour also include a visit to the Salt Mines in Hallein, where you’ll explore the ancient history of salt extraction, and a trip to the stunning Königssee in Berchtesgaden, known for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking mountain scenery. Finally, you’ll visit the charming medieval town center of Berchtesgaden, where its deep connections to Salzburg come to life.

Restrictions
- If you are claustrophobic please consider not taking this tour or skipping the Salt mine part. We can organize something else for you!
-You should be able to securely walk the during the Salt Mine Tour (1.5 hours)
Please let us know if there is a wheelchair – we can only accomodate foldable ones.
-The Salt Mines are not fully accessible with a wheelchair
-The Salt Mines are not suitable for children under 4 years – but we can provide an alternative program in the meanwhile

If you cancel your tour more than 48 hours before the start of the tour, no fees will be charged. However, please note that in such cases we will retain an administration fee of 10% of the booking price to cover the costs of payment transactions, bank fees and similar expenses.
If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours before the start of the tour, 50% of the total amount will be charged as a cancellation fee, in addition to the 10% administration fee.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged 100% of the total amount as a cancellation fee.by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
