Itinerary

1. A short city tour focusing on the Sound of Music movie, approximately 45 minutes of walking and driving in Salzburg’s Old Town.
2. A stop at the magnificent Palace of Leopoldskron – one of the two mansions used as the Von Trapp home and the place where the children famously fell into the lake.
3. A stop at Hellbrunn Palace, including a visit to the famous Gazebo.
4. A drive through picturesque countryside as we make our way to the Salzkammergut/Lake District.
5. Stop at the viewing point above St. Gilgen with a gorgeous view over the Wolfgangsee (lake Wolfgang).
6. A visit to the parish church of Mondsee – walk down the aisle of the iconic “Sound of Music Movie” Wedding Church plus a bit of extra time to spend on your own.

• The original Von Trapp villa cannot be visited as it is privately owned by the church.
• Schloss Leopoldskron can only be viewed from across the Leopoldskroner Weiher (pond) as it operates as a private hotel.
• Private option can only be booked for a maximum of 8 persons – if you are more, please contact us directly!
• Each guest requires a fully usable individual seat.
  If more space is needed than a standard seat provides, an additional seat (second ticket – child rate) must be booked for comfort and safety reasons.
• For travelers who prefer additional personal space or distance from other passengers, we recommend booking two seats.
